Brunei takes interest in Japan's Productivity Movement

JPC's Head of Global Management Center, Kuroda lectured on "Productivity Concept" and "Japan's Productivity Movement" for 15 Permanent Secretaries representing various ministries in Brunei Government on June 11. Kuroda elaborated how Productivity, output/input ratio, would relates to Outcome goals set as KPIs in public sector, and how Japan's Productivity Movement contributed to overcome Japan's struggle caused by dual Oil Crisis during 1970s.
He also stressed that any culture, whether it be national or organizational, it would not only be inherited but also be cultivated by current generation for the future.
Though Productivity concept was not very prevalent in Brunei Darussalam, JPC hopes to further advocate its significance to the country, aiming at achieving national plan of "WAWASAN (Vision) 2035".
