"Productivity Consultancy Trainers Training in Mekong with Socio-Economic Focus" commenced on June 15 at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, hosted by Vietnam National Productivity Institute and supported by Japan-ASEAN Solidarity Fund. This 40 week trainers training is composed of 3 parts as per below picture, and aiming to develop the human resources who can assist improving the productivity among Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) countries.


During the Onsite training, the trainees have lectures sessions and the consulting exercise sessions to the Vietnamese company as OJT training. This OJT consulting is done by teams of CLMV trainees and lead by Japanese Coaches.


Then during Offsite training, which is held at each trainee's local place such as Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar or some area in Vietnam, the trainee will do the same process as coach. That is, the trainee will teach the local participants about the management knowledge and skills they learnt during the Onsite, and then the trainee will lead the local team to conduct consulting to the local companies. These process go twice during the training period to train the trainees well and surely.

So as you can find out this is not just a mere training course but train the trainers course in order to develop human resources who can contribute productivity improvement among CLMV countries.

And these features comes from the long history of experience of Japan Productivity Center (JPC). JPC has been providing this training course since 1958, and its alumni reaches about 6500people.

JPC began providing this program and experience abroad recently including similar course in Singapore which focuses on Food and Retail industries.

This "Productivity Consultancy Trainers Training in Mekong Region with Socio-Economic Focus" is supported by the Japan-ASEAN Solidarity Fund.
