India Observational Study Mission on "Zero Defect Manufacturing in SMEs"

The study mission requested via Asian Productivity Organization (APO) was carried out in Tokyo from 7 to 8 December, 2015. The mission members were 6 in total; 4 from manufacturing companies, 1 from industrial association of Uttarakhand and 1 from National Productivity Council of India. The Japan Productivity Center (JPC) organized 2 presentations on the history of productivity improvement and its practical activities in Japan and 2 manufacturing site visits. These programs aimed for the members to acquire a better understanding of the productivity improvement and its practical approaches implemented by Japanese companies for the higher quality of the products.
