Observational Study Mission from Singapore "SiPi-JPC Creating Productivity DNA MasterClass - Study Tour to Japan"

The Japan Productivity Center (JPC) carried out 5 days observational study mission for CEOs, business owners and senior managers of manufactures in Singapore. This tour is jointly planned with Singapore SPRING and Singapore Innovation & Productivity Institute (SiPi), which is one of division of Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF). The objective is to develop productivity DNA by learning lean management in order for participants to implement into their company. There are 3 phases of program. Phase 1 is coaching/Gemba walk at their company to find out company's issues, phase 2 is this Japanese tour to learn pure lean management, and phase 3 is consulting to solve issues. In that week, Participants visited best practice companies in Japan and went through a lot of interactive discussion with the representatives of Japanese companies with JPC consultant. Finally, participants have built action plan for lean implementation to their own company.
